13th March.

No movement on the tracker, so sent a polite email this morning asking if there was an issue, got confirmation it's on a boat with a screen grab showing it's at 39, so the your Audi tracker is not correct.

Looks like it's on the Isar Highway, due in at 8pm tonightnerd
Just chased Audi Sheffield and mine is also on a boat for delivery to a UK port today..

Apparently there are 3 boats each with 800 cars coming in today. This wont help with the VED issue though, as she also confirmed that a block has indeed been put on registering cars at the UK ports (I assume by Customs & Excise?) as so many were having this done to avoid the hike..

She also confirmed that offloading will be slower than usual due to the volumes and that they are expecting the car to them mid/late next week, with delivery in around 2 weeks time..

Just need to see what Fleetsauce are prepared to do re a contribution to the uplift. If nothing, there will be Nav Blue SB with B&O, Flat wheel, VC, Hill hold, Folding mirrors and priv glass available as a cancelled order pretty shortly! rolleyes

Lots of black blue and some white cars being ordered - anyone got grey or red coming out of curiosity?
Strangely, I have never seen a Daytona grey SB anywhere. Would be good to see one if anyone has one on order as the coupe looks pretty awesome.

I think as goodwill they should not charge etc for those that arrived today or vlose enough to the 31st, these cars were ordered back in oct/nov!
Surely they cant afford soo many cancellations, if everyone turns round and says they are going to cancel, they will suffer more

Like you guys still waiting for your cars to be registered, I am also fed up with the censored coming out of Audi dealers as I have been waiting for the replacement of the Audi Connect key fob they lost for two weeks now, and told it would be at least another 2 weeks to get the replacement from Germany. SO, out of curiosity I telephoned the DVLA to ask if there was any restrictions on registrations before 1st April, and the answer was an emphatic NO. The chap did say that the system was running slower that usual due to the sheer volume of new registrations. I also asked him if it mattered where the vehicle was located i.e at the dealers or at a port in the UK and again the answer was NO as long as you have your VIN, vehicle details, and the appropriate fee, then it does not matter at all. So there you have it, but the bulls**t continues.

Wow unbelievable if true. Surely all those expecting cars now and have cars in the uk should raise this with Audi and not have to pay the extra VED.

Yep, but expect bulls**t as usual. I recon all of this delay and registration lark is actually down to boosting dealer/supplier sales figures for April as they know higher end new car sales will slump after today, so hold as many back as they dare, and viola! April is looking good chaps. After all, you are taking the VED hit as far as they are concerned so no skin off their noses.

DVLA never applies any registration bans like that.

Any decision not to register the vehicles with be driven by Audi HQ - most likely protecting registrations volume for April if they've achieved March volume target.

Got mine delivered today on a trailer from JCT600. Half a tank of fuel. Car was a bit dusty and it rained whilst being unloaded. Not very clean inside and I've found a few scratches which I need to photo and email to them for feedback. Anyway;

Spec is brilliant black, grey leather, vc, hha, fbsw and privacy glass.

Done 6 miles so far. Sounds lovely. Set individual mode already so sound is in dynamic. Makes a difference and sounds beefy on start up.

Same spec as what I have gone for except mine is SB.

Any chance of taking some more pics of the grey interior and your impressions of it? Torn between sticking or twisting for the red interior.

Definitely get those photos done asap and sent otherwise they will say you have done it. Say when you send them you will need to now take it to a detailer to get the scratches sorted and you plan to bill the dealer. Bit harsh but my dad did it and BMW dealer footed the bill.

Black seems to be the most popular on here!

I did write some that I saw on the delivery note. But aim to wash it in the morning and do just that!

Picked my black SB with grey interior up today. Wow it's some.machine, lots of power and so much tech with it.

Spent most of the time adjusting the seats, so many settings it's mad.

Hope you have some luck with FS.

Given that they and V4B (who I used) are pretty much one and the same business I'd be surprised if they fund it.

Hopefully pics work. One showing the windows are tinted anyway so i don't think privacy glass is needed.

Also car seats fit in great!

Some nice pics. How many car seats do you have that need to fit in? I have a few kids under 6yo that that are in a mix of child seats and a booster. Not forgetting the wife ofcourse...!

I've got two of those car seats in the back, for a 3 and 6 year old. Plenty of space although my son who sits behind me I'm taking his shoes off as he keeps kicking and marking the hard back of my seat.

Thanks thats reassuring. Although i measured the space based on official car dimensions, i've always had a slight niggle as to whether everyone would fit in reality.
