I thought grey would look a bit Meh, but looks a lot better than I thought it would. If I hadn't have previously had a met grey old shape S5 this wold probably have been my choice over the Nav Blue (as I've had 3 black cars on the bounce now and wanted a change wink )

I did contemplate red for a moment but figured people may think I was having a mid life crisis if I did..!

A few manufacturers seem to be pushing darker blues at the moment in their promo shots & vids IMO - I wonder if Blue will be the new White come next March.. biggrin

Looks very nice. I was really tempted to go Grey but didn't want to spend the extra money so settled with Black.

I'm a bit surprised that they aren't offering Nardo Grey as an option, unless that is reserved for the RS variants...

As a first time leaser have a contract query.

So far, I have signed a order with a "broker" to place the order, but have not seen any details at all of the finance agreement I will be entering into with VWFS, nor have I signed it. Apparently this happens on delivery.

So, what happens if I don't agree with the terms upon delivery? Can I refuse? Won't happen, but seems odd it's left to then. At the moment, I theoretically have no visibility of cancellation terms, hand back criteria etc.

Have you not signed a proposal and been credit checked or anything like that?

White is definitely the worst of the colours ive seen on the new A5

Yep, signed an order and been checked but seen no details of any financé agreement. Not sure the FSA would approve to be honest.

I think the white looks good there. White is also so forgiving and easy to maintain. Black looks better but will take looking after.

Finally saw the Nav Blue S5 Coupe at Cheshire Oaks - pic files are too big so ill get them on later.
Not quite as taken by the colour having seen it in the metal but the privacy glass makes a difference so it makes me realise I have done the right thing cancelling my S5 (even though its now in uk).
Also got a pic of the red leather ill put up shortly as iI know a few people have ordered it

Did you have any trouble cancelling with V4B?

I assume you've had to order the new one immediately to avoid the hefty cancellation charges?

What spec' have you gone for now?

V4B have been nothing short of excellent in this situation. They are still talking to the dealer. When I re-order it will be same spec but with privacy glass and likely Daytona Grey instead of Nav Blue. If the car thats here now in Nav Blue had privacy glass id still take it even if the grey is a bit nicer.

Cancelled then, good that you went to see them in the flesh so to speak. Did you get a £300 dealer cancellation charge? which is what I have been quoted.. be interested to know how much you've had to pay - or not

Ill find out tomorrow if i get a fee or any charges. Wont be happy if I do as I want another order going in asap if they charge me anything ill just wait for the next lease bargain thats around the corner. I cancelled with VW on an R lease once and they waived the 300 as we were getting the mrs a Polo GTI. Ita hard to order a car months before being able to see one in a showroom. lead times are 4 months now though not the 2 months i got

It's not so much the £300 (or whatever) I'd be bothered about; it's the 15% of P11D value which they quote on the contract as being the cancellation charge - so roughly £7,500 on an S5. Sounds like you've done well to avoid that!

Have they said if the one you're now going to order in its place will be at the same price as before, given that the prices have risen considerably now?

When I say considerably, I mean massively actually: http://www.vehiclesforbusiness.co.uk/personal-leas...

None of the above confirmed - will find out everything tomorrow lunch time. Select leasing still have a similar deal and a dealer in Sheffield has given me the same price as V4B deal.
Really hoping V4B can work something out with the dealer. All this over some bloody privacy glass!

Black optic pack now available on the audi.de configurator @ €550, as well as Audi Exclusive colours @ €2,400, so expect it to be coming soon to UK orders.

Good video of a Daytona Grey coupe with it on here;
