I went for virtual cockpit, colourful LEDs and hill hold in the end. I nearly went for the pack which includes virtual cockpit, multi-coloured LEDs and the matrix lights but decided the extra £400 wasn't really worth it after speaking to someone at work with similar lights on his C350e - they are auto dipping as standard anyway. Decent value (£400 saving) if you do want all 3 though.

I'll miss adaptive cruise frown

Yeah I thought about the light and vision pack (I think that's it's name) as I liked the look of the matrix leds but just couldn't justify it. And yes the ACC will be the major miss from the Golf, it's stupidly expensive on the S5 isn't it (although with more assistance features too)?

I've just spent most of the evening reading the 30 odd pages of this thread!!

On the hunt for somewhere to order the S5 myself, although it seems allocation is running short at the moment, but fingers crossed.

Simon - love the colour of your S5, you're in my neck of the woods also so no doubt i will see (hear!) that around.

Can't decide if i'd go for the navara blue or the grey though. Can anyone confirm if this is the Manhattan grey or Daytona?

Thanks!

p.s. if anyone has one on order that they want to cancel, please let me know and i'll snap it up!

I ran my Golf R on V Power Nitro the whole time and whilst quick I would agree 3rd is when you really feel it kicking in. The JB1 sorted that out though and some - it was ballstic once that was fitted.

Anyway, hoping this S5 loosens off with a few k under its belt.
I think they may have detuned it in 1st and 2nd to increase the 0-60 vs the RS3 or something... The JB1 and other tunes give say 20% more power yet knock over a second off the 0-60!

If a JB1 comes out for the S5 are you going to consider that? Too early to ask?
I would consider it based on my experience with the JB1 on the Golf R thats for sure.

I think that's Daytona Grey as it looks the same colour as my other half's current black edition which is in Daytona and currently for sale;) as I've ordered an S5 and don't want 2 two door coupes especially as we work togethersmile

It wasn't until a spent some time detailing the A5 that I realised it had quite a lot of different colours in the paintwork and looks stunning when clean.

I'd love to know if anyone has got theirs yet that has the matrix lights as I've ordered them and would be nice to hear that they were worth it or not. I've ordered one or two more options and although never leased a car before did a fair amount of research on PH as to leasing and found that the consensus is that you don't add options to a lease car. As well as man maths I looked at it as having the car I want with most of the options I would like to have at a price that I'm happy with, due to getting a pretty good deal in the end and only paying 1/2 the VAT.

A few pages back the Extended LED pack came up - I took the option and am glad I did but I get others view that its 100 quid for some colours. Keen to know what everyones thoughts are;

I like it. I asked Fleetsauce to change my order to include the extended LED pack and glad I did now.

Thanks for the pics mate!

Cheers mate. Both greys are same price anyway right?
I've spoke to Select and they say they've used up their allocation, they sourced another dealer but fees are closer to 430+ now.

I might just take you up on that offer, I go M62/M57 every day. I'll see if I can get an order in first otherwise I'm just gonna get jealous if I see yours and can't order one

Just called - he says audi have now pulled the deal due to a production issue. I'm guessing its just a lack of allocation available. :-(

So that must be the engine shortage issue that was on the lease deals thread then frown

I wonder what that entails for us who have them on order! And it seems absurd if there are engine supply issues that the SQ5 is meant to be here in April?!

I'm considering cancelling my order.
White with Virtual Cockpit.
Got an email with about 5 or 6 names on it stating delays and expect May/June. Was expecting mid May already so that email makes me think will be late June now.

Main reason though is the VED changes. I sent an email to CVL on Monday asking for an update if Audi/CVL will cover the VED increases. No update and was asked to call Audi on Friday this week for an update.
I was told yes by CVL but then they told me to ring Audi for peace of mind, Audi said not sure if we are covering, CVL info is wrong.
Another guy on here was quoted an extra £750 costs by CVL, so i won't be keeping my order if i get the same. Audi/CVL should be covering these costs as they are March delivery cars, but delayed. My Fiesta ST is also due back in March and i think you can only get an informal extension for 3 months or less before a new finance agreement is drawn up.

Can only keep asking them mate and keep you updated on here.

Looks very nice indeed!

Out of interest what does your service computer say? Has it been set to annual servicing or long life?

Think mine is set to annual... sure when I checked it said 9 thousand and something or 12 months on the digital display. Think that is for an minor oil change though.

Be surprised if they put a 3l v6 on long life. Just hope 1 minor service will suffice as it will be due the 2nd one just before return.

Maybe if I get the first service done a bit late or return the car a little early then that may do it!

Hahaha much to my dismay I got my golf serviced 3 days before my anniversary of having it, but I wasn't bothered at the time as it needed doing at 9k. They swapped it to long life (as that's what it should have been set to apparently) and then now it needs doing at around 25k which means if I had delayed it by 4 days in theory I could have done with only one service!

Cheers. I held over three weeks on my merc so I only had to service once.
