The black sportback with privacy looks lovely - in a different league to that god awful white one from a few pages back. White doesnt work well on this A5 coupe or sportback (in my view anyhew) and i dont mind white cars (we have a new white polo gti).
If anyone regrets not speccing privacy i had audi get them tinted via a subcontractor and the results are excellent. No bubbles or anything
If it's the pic I took back in December, yes it looks completely dire compared to the S4 next to it, despite the S4 not being as stylish it looks better because of the colour. If anyone regrets not speccing privacy i had audi get them tinted via a subcontractor and the results are excellent. I asked today about delays. Dealer seemed confident that there is no issue. He put in an order for s5 sportback last week and said build date is week 9 ( or might have been 11), he reckons customer will have it be end of April . But he would say that when trying to make a sale...
JCT have said mine will be there in March despite yourAudi saying April 10th to start build!Just checked my build date and it's moved to the 6th March from the 20th March. It was originally 6th Feb which is what I was told by the dealer (build week 6) and when I asked her about any delays a couple of weeks ago she said that Audi only mentioned that there may be delays due to being a new model and nothing to do with engine shortages.

That is good...I ordered an S5 sportback 21st Nov. Build date expected 10th April and has been for a while. Been itching to find a 360 video like this to hear the sound a get a feel for it. Nice!MPG Update.....
This car is horrendous on fuel around town! I spent my last tank of fuel mainly taking the town route to work which consists of a few stop starts and max 30mph. I used AUTO driving mode and had it in D for 90% with the occasional S mode sprint. The route is about 4 miles.
I have also done around 10 short trips on A roads where I did give it a bit of heavy footedness....(I tend to get around 13mpg when red lining it around A roads... better than the 10mpg I get when in slower sections of town) + a few sensible trips along dual carriageway to shops.
Anyway here are my Figures...
9:41 h
19mph average
186.5 Miles Covered
16.9MPG!
I checked and the actual MPG based on the 51.46 Litres I put in was 16.48 so at least the Audi MPG calculator is accurate!
On a better note..... After the refill I took a trip to Glasgow... Mainly motorway and used the Efficiency mode for the whole trip. 85 Miles return and got 30.5 MPG and at some stages I was up at 40MPG whilst on cruise control at 76mph.
I cant even imagine how bad the fuel economy would be for someone who commutes in a congested town/city!

Well at least it's similar to the golf on the motorway, and I don't go into town a lot! If it's a few mpg better than my B8 S4 then that will do me, long term I averaged 22 mpg out of that. This car is horrendous on fuel around town! Pic of mine after a clean but realised seeing the pic i forgot to tyre gel the tyres - argh. Needless to say im about to go out and do them. The wheels are a breeze to clean having been clay barred and glass coated.
I know a few are waiting on navarra blue so ill throw a pic up every now and then.
Ive still not seen another new A5 or S5 coupe out on the road.

Has anyone got any photos or vids of what the navarra blue s5 sportback looks like in the flesh? I must admit, I've seen a few coupe pics but havent seen navarra blue sportbacks.
Not the greatest video in the world, but will give you an ideahttps://youtu.be/ulRaPKZVJBo

Thanks, i've seen that one. Its about the only navarra blue sportback vid I've seen. Would be great to see something that shows the colour profile and lines in that colour from a slight distance. I guess I'll have to wait a while till more start appearingGassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
