Audi A6 2.7 Sport Tiptronic transmission fluid for gear box

Help!

I'm trying to find out what transmission fluid I need for my gear box.

I've phoned Audi and they say they can't tell me the grade but I can buy it from them at £18 per litre. I need 7 1/2 litres.

Anyone know what grade it actually is and if you can get it cheaper elsewhere?

Audi work by a part number rather than a grade; try emailing Opie Oils who are usually really good with things like that.

Phoned Opie Oils and the chap was really helpful. Great customer service. Going to order today, will certainly be going back in future. Had never heard of them before.
