Next door has a Golf, she was asking me this morning as she has received a note to go and have the dirty D's ECU updated.

Do they "loan Car"
How long does it take
Is and compo due ? (I know....but she asked)

Loan car - yes they'll do that

Time taken - not long - you could easily wait for it

Compo - highly unlikely unless you sign up to the group action and hope weight of numbers causes them to cave in (I doubt it)

Think it depends on the the dealership, I think VW offered various "gifts", Roadside assist, fuel, voucher, "accessories gift".
