Anyone know what Vw cars contain BXE 1.9 & 2.0 DIESEL

I need some help I been looking at the vw touran 1.9dti or 2.0 in years did they change the engine codes as i am trying to avoid the BXE engine as they can push conrods through the block .

what's the best engine codes out of the vw range

any advise would be great .
