The Scirocco R Lease Thread
Discussion
Picking mine up tomorrow. Dealer set me an email with a link to a video today.

Don't think the video will win any awards, but at least I know the car exists and its the correct colour. I was hoping for black rather than silver mirrors but its not exactly the end of the world that they are silver.
Collecting tomorrow afternoon - insurance is sorted and only £15 a year more than my current car (2004 Merc CLK 320 convertible worth approx £4k),

No options, but I did manage to get Rising Blue thrown in, I will post pics up tomorrow for sure!
Did you take out gap insurance? If so who with and how much?
Thanks
Also has anyone else taken delivery of their lease Scirocco this month.
Mine is at the dockside somewhere so should not be too long now.
Sorry I missed this, no I haven't taken out gap insurance as of yet. The wheel mark really easily too, I had to get up onto a really small curb (no choice) even creeping really bloody slowly I have managed to cause a small ding in the rim! Arse! Just a word of warning when you get yours!
My build week was this week and it's already in transport
To the guys who have had or soon having the car delivered how long was the car in transit for?
I've been looking at a few of these which are under a year old and for sale online and and it seems VW use three different tyres for the Rocco R. They're either Pirelli Pzero's, Continental CSC 5P or the dreaded Bridgestone Potenza's (Had these on my Fiesta ST from new and they're average in the dry and appalling in the wet) What tyres do you guys have on yours?
