Car been in transit for a week. Not fussed as not taking delivery until June. Might take it early though if VWFS sensible about extra charge for having the GTD back early.

Old car is going back on the 17th March and I'll be receiving a shiny new Scirocco on the same day! Exciting.

Picking mine up tomorrow. Dealer set me an email with a link to a video today.

https://video.citnow.com/content/cin-uk-vertu-volk...

Don't think the video will win any awards, but at least I know the car exists and its the correct colour. I was hoping for black rather than silver mirrors but its not exactly the end of the world that they are silver.

Collecting tomorrow afternoon - insurance is sorted and only £15 a year more than my current car (2004 Merc CLK 320 convertible worth approx £4k),

Same here - changed this morning to stage 6. Shipping only took 10 days rather than 4 weeks. Should be at the dealers in 7 days.

Looks awesome! Now I only have to wait 2 weeks frown.

I just wish the car was a little bit lower as standard, the ride height is a little high for my liking!

Mines due for for delivery on 17th March. I could of had the car this Friday but decided to hold up so it matches with my current car going back.

I'll probably buy GAP insurance through ALA.

Sorry I missed this, no I haven't taken out gap insurance as of yet. The wheel mark really easily too, I had to get up onto a really small curb (no choice) even creeping really bloody slowly I have managed to cause a small ding in the rim! Arse! Just a word of warning when you get yours!

How long was your car in transit for?

My build week was this week and it's already in transport smile

To the guys who have had or soon having the car delivered how long was the car in transit for?

I've been looking at a few of these which are under a year old and for sale online and and it seems VW use three different tyres for the Rocco R. They're either Pirelli Pzero's, Continental CSC 5P or the dreaded Bridgestone Potenza's (Had these on my Fiesta ST from new and they're average in the dry and appalling in the wet) What tyres do you guys have on yours?
