Evening all,

Apologies for the question but just wondering...

If you leave a PS3 controller unused for an extended period of time is it then useless in regards to being able to charge it?

Ive been involved in an extension build & after 2 years have unpacked the PS3, yes i know... old tech, etc laugh but the controller only works when connected via the usb. Ive tried to charge them but they just wont charge.

Cheers in advance

You can open them up and replace the battery.

Indeed you can and there's also a handy guide on iFixit.
