New (used) Golf. A few queries

It was an eBay punt (I know, I know) and does have a couple of niggles.

- I noticed a vibration in the passenger foot well when I was picked up in it. The vibration is pretty much there too through the pedals. It's not tooth filling rattling, but it's there nonetheless. The guy had fitted 16" Gti alloys to the car, so a lower profile than the steels that should be on there. Could this be all it is? I did notice one of the weights missing on the n/s wheel missing, so will get them balanced. But tbh I'm tempted to put 15" wheels back on it where they belong.

- Slight judder on clutch take up when pulling away in first, but nothing after that. No rattles from box/clutch, so I'm assuming the DMF is ok. So just a new clutch then? (2nd to 3rd is not exactly slick, but the rest are ok).

- Airbag fault light. Is this a common fault? The idiot guy I bought it off said it came up after it was cleaned so probably the plug wiring was disturbed under the seat. There are signs of a makeshift wiring job as he changed the interior to a later interior and removed the velour seats. (again, I know.... but it's a low mileage car and in otherwise good condition).

Any help info re these niggles is much appreciated.
