New Golf GTI (7.5) questions

I'm considering a new Golf GTI (something like this) and I have a few questions before I approach dealers...

1. What's the usual lead-time on a spec to build order?
2. Any chance of discounts, the PCP quote suggests a £1000 dealer contribution, could I do better? I'm assuming not on a car that's not out yet...
3. Roof racks - how does a roof-rack attach? Does it have standard anchors? Also, could I fit four bikes on the roof?

Try Broadspeed, they're offering around £4,600 discount on the new Golf, then add back on Broadspeed's flat fee of £199. The cars are normal UK dealer supplied cars.

You could also try Carwow as they have no fee but I have no idea of discounts on there.
