Hi Guys
I've had my S5 Coupe for over 2 weeks now and covered around 500 miles. I adore the car but my only hold up with it is the MPG I am currently averaging at (12MPG)
I would say 95% of the time I am driving in Efficiency mode and I'm not thrashing the pants off it either.
Can anyone post MPG they are currently getting out of their S5 coupes?
On an another note I am thinking of getting the calipers painted by http://www.specialisttyres.com/brakecalipers.htm and wanted to know if the red calipers as an option from factory includes front and rear and emblem on all calipers.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Alex
I did not want to pay the extortionate price Audi wanted for the red caliper option, so did them myself for £5.00 using red caliper paint from Halfords. If you spec red calipers, there is a small white S5 logo, but it is hard to see. I masked off the raised part on the front caliper so the logo is still visible. Here is a pic...ignore the Quattro that the dealer put on the rear doors, that is coming off at the weekend.I've had my S5 Coupe for over 2 weeks now and covered around 500 miles. That's not good is it. The problem seems to affect coupes more than sportbacks particularly with the seat belt feeder. The door glass issue I haven’t had an issue with, but I know there have been some posts about it on the PH lease thread. Trouble is software is never 100% and therefore needs bug fixes the same as a PC does, but the danger being it can make matters worse or can even brick the car as in this chaps case. Garages are mechanics not software programmers therefore when this sort of thing happens it’s a nightmare to fix. Sadly the chap is now the ‘test bed’ for the software fix and any future S5 MMI upgrades, and IMO has been treated pretty badly by his dealer. Worth noting though and mentioning to the dealer when in for a service or repair.I have a coupe and my front windows rattle/move over bumpy roads. Very irritating. Had this on a previous TT. Also on a few occasions my window hasn't dropped so I couldn't shut the drivers door. Can't bring myself to get it booked in and sorted yet. Will probably come back with another issue or damage somewhere.

If you've never had one before not really, it does make for a nice addition to the tech in the car, makes it feel very high end. I like it and would choose it again but you could live without it.Would I miss the V Cockpit?

That seems high, has it got lots of extras?

That's effectively the same price as last year, so is a good deal. If you want grey then and are in a rush I'd take it. VC is good but yoi may end up paying more than £250 for it if you end up with a worse deal as a result.Would I miss the V Cockpit?

How quick is quick? And do you know if they have more than one? I'd be interested as I'm waiting on a September delivery which I'm not confident about. Would I miss the V Cockpit?
