Allroad cutting-out, looking for specialist recommendations

Hey all,

My A6 Allroad occasionally cuts out - completely dead - but fires up again. Not ideal when on the move. Looking for a specialist recommendation as Germantech were useless/hapless (their tool "broke" preventing them from fixing an oil leak and they just handed the car back), and German Motor Company are not answering their emails, plus they're a bit far.

We're in Richmond, so anything West and West Of London is good, happy to trek a bit if they're really good...

It is indeed, a 3.0, 2006/7 model. I've seen a lot of threads about cutting-out, none seem entirely relevant...

Drop my tuner an E-mail. He is a VAG genius and particularly good with TDI's.
He has fixed several cars which Audi Main dealers have not been able to resolve and I would be willing to bet a tenner on him resolving the issue.

He is based in Windsor, 5 minutes from Junction 6 on the M4.
