Are Avon ZZS 245/50R13s suitable for a Caterham ??

I have just bought a couple of Avon ZZS 245/50R13s for my Mk2 escort but they don't suit it. I'm a bit gutted as they weren't cheap and I literally rolled it out of the garage and decided they weren't for me. I'm going to advertise them for sale but before I do that I wanted to know if they were suitable for a Caterham in that size??

I suspect far too wide...
I have just ordered 205 (R888R) rears for Eugene, and they are probably borderline...

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure whether to put Caterham in the title or not when I advertise them.

They will fit (recommended for 8-10" rims and caterham is an 8" rear) and only 15mm wider than the "standard" 215s. No harm in suggesting it.
