Nope my highline was a manual & so have all the others ive seen.

Think its just leather trim & different paint on highlines & maybe a/c was standard too, oh and body colour moldings too.

The normal Golf VR6 has an inferior version of the Corrado's VR6, whereas the Golf VR6 Highline also has an inferior version of the Corrado's VR6.

Cheers guys.

Well, i have been for a look and it is absolutely MINT. only done 53k, FSH, and it appears to be a genuine highline. Black as well which i think is the best colour (not 100% sure bout the purple seat ones!).

Its £5999, which i reckon is a bit dear. dont know how to link direct to the car, but below is the dealers website. See what you reckon. I think if i can get it for 5500 thats ok.

The highline added a number of features as standard, be aware not all cars advertised as highlines are highlines.

Highline is either diamond black or purple,
with matching leather, aircon, heated seats, sunroof, in manual or auto, solitude alloys, body coloured bumpers, no trim along the bottom of the doors like the std vr6.

Be wary when checking a vr6 out, for the following

- damage to side sills ( crushing ) by being lifted incorrectly on a car lift, v common and v expesnive to fix.
- overheating
- any hestitation from the engine - shoul dbe silky smooth

Ah was the wooden gear knob a highline thing... wondered why we had a brown gearknob while the rest of the interior is black leather.

Rear headrests and a different rear badge to standard. Fully colour coded bumpers and rub strips.
