I agree, the shooting brake revealed previously was awesone IMO, far better than this fake sports car which is aimed as a fashion accessory for people who don't care about car dynamics (not a criticism btw) whereas the shooting brake at least is not overpromising/underdelivering. The distance between the top of the wheel and the top of the bonnet is laughable, it shows how high the centre of gravity will be. OK for a hot hatch ; pathetic for acoupe.

I'd prefer it if they offered a TT 'GT3', if you will - completely stripped down to the bare essentials, no servo-assisted anything, no parking assistance or other Numptytronic devices, no power steering - and hardcore drivers could really see how good that chassis and quattro system were. And I'd have mine in white.

Because as it is, I'm not convinced.

I'd like to see someone wrestling with a 250-300bhp 4WD car without power steering - I certainly wouldn't want it removed from my car...

I appreciate your sentiment, but you can't remove everything.

Is TT a genuine quattro? I thought the transverse engine variants used a VW system.

I like the old one better.

no turbo 4 wheel drive is sad.

V6 engine weights a ton

looks like an A4 Coupe now.
I drove a current shape 3.2 V6 DSG the other day. Went nicely.

I think it looks preety smart...

I would have been top of the list if they where going to make the shooting brake but it seems it got a really poor reaction from the 'public' when it has appeared on the show stands!!! why didnt they come and ask us??? A BMW ZM Coupe for 2006!!!

Would love to know why that great 2.0 turbo has been mated to front wheel drive!!! its all fun in Golf GTI but I thought the TT was supposed to be more grownup than that!!!
