Not going to go into too much detail but....

Last weekend (Sunday 9th) i was driving down from Cromer heading along a dual carriageway just outside Norwich. I passed you doing around 80mph, minding my own business and you decided to play silly buggers. Luckily for you my other half was in the car.

Next time you decide to try and box a car in at high speeds I hope they DO force you and your mate off the road.

I don't expect you to read this as you're probably not intelligent enough to use a PC.

I was in a grey 5 series BMW.

Where is the dual carriage way between Cromer and Norwich, as far as i know there isnt one and i know that road fairly well?

You need to be careful also, admission of doing more than 80MPH on the public roads is not a very good idea and is not clever.

Why come on here and bleat, you should have taken his number and reported him, easy?

Thanks for you're concern regarding my license.

It was between Norwich and the A11, just before entering the single carrageway passed the war memorial.

I hope that was not sarcasm.

The way you had written the post it sounded as though you were driving from Cromer to Norwich and were on a dual carriage way, hence my reply.

To be honest i really don't care about anyone elses license, only my own, if you deserve to loose it then so be it. To come on here to admit you are doing in excess of 80MPH, then you are on your way to loosing it, I am sorry to sound so negative but if you're going to speed don't come onto hear expecting sympathy. As for the "nob" in the other car, we gat cut up daily, life is too short to get stressed out and whinge about others.

To be fair if he is thats peed off that he felt the need to post it mut have been pretty bad driving by the A3.

We have all been there and it can be pretty damn scary when someone else almost causes what could be a serious accident.

It's not nice and some people need to learn some basic road safety...

Then he should have reported the A3 to the police instead of coming on here moaning, at least that way something can be done about the bad driving.

The OP was just venting his anger, not a big issue IMO.

As you say we've all been there and we all handle it differently.

Phumy.

Yes it was sarcasm, but thanks for pointlessly replying again. There are far too many people on PH that share you're attitude. Its for this reason I try not to play an active part in such a aggressive and vindictive forum. Do you really think it’s possible to loose my license from one post!!! I can imagine standing in court and the old bill producing a post on an internet forum as evidence!!! I don't think so!!! 'I was trying to look 'big' your honour'..........

Anyway, like I said thanks for your input, I mean it, but perhaps you should just ignore this thread from now on.

As I was saying in the OP. I'm driving along, some jumped up little boy pulls up approx 1/2 meter off my bumper, his mate then tries to slide up the inside and with a car around 8 meters ahead of me I’m boxed in. I made sure in simple terms they knew that it wasn't on and both of them realised I would be happy to crash if they tried it again.

It was dangerous, immature and like I said my misses wasn't happy.

Also having had time to think about it, yes I wish I had taken his number, sadly when someone’s trying to run me off the road I kinda forgot about that and tried to stay on the black stuff.
I would like to discuss his attitude and warn him one day he'll pick on someone who might not be as relaxed as me.

Sorry, but the Audi section if PH seems the best place.

Is your anger vented yet? rolleyes

Whats the point in discussing his attitude with him if he winds you up that much, he will only do it again, or are you expecting him to apologise to you hehe

Maybe you should have vented off in the SP&L, see what kind of reception you get there!

Looks like the main gripe is they had one over on you.

In some cases driving like a road captain can make many situations worse?

They thought they were being cleaver however they discovered i was still very much in control. I use my mirrors and saw it coming from a mile off. Once they were 'in position' i took action. I'm not going to go into detail, but needless to say they left me alone afterwards.

Nice first post, welcome to the forum, you'll fit in perfectly.

Some road users court/attract poor driving. The grown up thing to do is to see it coming, don’t get involved and let someone else get wound up.

As suggested above, not sure I would admit to any inappropriate speed or actions on a public forum, as you have in many of your previous posts on PH.

Which I've read, he's not being threatening and from what I'm reading you are the one being the aggressive one here. And this is the thread I think he was referring to in respect of admitting to speeding on a forum - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... 87 NIP. And again here - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

What do you expect coming on the Audi/VW forum and start accusing them as a whole, as if the driver is on here in the first place. There's a big wide world out there.

I feel it is easy for these types of post to get out of hand.

Happy - I do genuinely get the OP - this type of behaviour seems to happen a lot on the roads these days..

The rest of you - I also take on board that Phumy has gotten Happy wound up but then again Phumy also got me would up with his style of posting a couple of years ago, so that's his M - O.

However I believe this type of forum is great for a rant, and usually gets a more sympathetic response!!

Very true, however it is how you ask the question is an indication of what response you will get.

In the same way as if to take matters into you own hands on the road to teach "some jumped up little boy" a lesson expect a rebuff.

Interested to know what made him "jumped up" a story for another day maybe...

I wound you up, did you really get wound up over that, you're more of a fool then than i originally thought you were.

I asked you to prove a point and you couldn't, anyway each to their own, you have your opinion and i have mine so if the OP is wound up, thats his problem. All i did was state that he shouldn't come on here ranting about other peoples alleged poor driving then admit he is well over the NSL himself. If he requires sympathy he should have posted on SP&L.
