TT brakes

One of my mates has just bought a 2000 TT quattro. Drove it the other night and thought the brakes had slightly too much soft travel before any proper feel, comparing them to all the other vehicles i drive VW T4, VW Passat sport etc

Does anyone know what there like, what there meant to feel like. I reckon they could do with a look at, bled etc.

All I know is that mine (52 plate) are not as sensitive as a lot of VW groups cars. Specifically my wife's Golf and later A3.

Just had mine done (pads, discs and fluid) as well so they are fine!
