Brakes on my A3 3.2 are hideous, I can drive around it however every so often something on the road will spook me and I'll go to start breaking and pitch myself out of the seat.

Is there a way to soften the servo off? Or maybe I could change to track spec pads that would be less aggressive when driving normally?

All Audi brakes are massively over servo'd, A3 A4 A6 ....... The R8 is a fantastic car, but even that is the same.

Once you get used to it then they are fine, but it does take a bit of getting used to. Only way to change it would be the change the servo, but there wont be a less effective one available to fit unless you have someone make a one off, and that will cost more than the car.

The brakes on my '08 Leon Cupra are the same - had it a year now and I still don't like them.

Mind you, I came from an Elise before the SEAT with no servo!
