Warning light- please help!!!

Unfortuantely whilst driving tonight the exhaust system warning light appeared onthe dash of my MKV 1.6FSI ( I know, not at all PH!!) I haven't noticed any loss of performance ( not that there is a great deal) no sounds nothing. It does sound like the exhaust could be bblowing, would this cause the lamp to illuminate?

Any suggestions would be great before I go to the dealer tommorrow.

MAF Sensor maybe (Google it), cost will vary but if you haven't noticed anything major then I'd recommend someone using a VAGCOM on it.

Could be one of the lambda probes.
