Desperate Dealers...WHERE?

Hi Guys...I put a similar post in general gassing, I am interested in a new car, namely an Audi...has anyone had a go at seeing how far they can knock down a dealer?

I am looking for a new spec car too...not a forecourt one

Got £4.5k off a pre-reg A4 2.0 (143) TDi SE Avant from a dealer in Stirling (Scotland), 2 weeks ago. Plus a reasonable exchange on my 05 saloon version of the 140 model.

Hi,

I just bought my first Audi about 3 weeks ago. Got a Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI S-Line Tip/Quattro with Comms pack 2, lux pack, priv glass, black style pack, ami and bose (might have been more stuff lol). The retail was 42.5k and I got it for 32k. To top it off I got a good deal on my trade-in and they were doing PCP finance at 1.1%.... The GFV was OK too, at 12k.

I found 3 dealers willing to do this deal, so it wasnt just a one-off.

Im pretty sure you wont be able to match that now to be honest as they have pretty much sold their UK stock and factory built has less margin. I think you would do well to get 5k off list.

A Friend was offered 10% off a Q5 (factory order to his own spec) 4 weeks ago. He believes the dealer would have gone further if pushed.
