audi r8 manual or r tronic

hi people wondering if you can give me some really good advice! i own a prestige car hire company. looking to add a r8 onto the fleet but dont know which one to go for manual or r tronic? would a manual just get thrashed and the clutch or gearbox go? so would a r tronic be much better as it s a automatic? some body told me the r8 r tronic gearbox isnt that good as it has a life time of around 8 thousand miles!?!? even went to the audi dealer ship and the sales man really didnt know what he was talking about and got no help there what so ever!! please help as i dont want to make the wrong choice!!!!!

Manual everytime....R tronic too jerky, auto doesn't work smoothly etc etc. I had an R8 manual for a year, loved it, the manual change was excellent, clutch light and I did c.8k in the year I owned it and no problems, plenty of clutch left.

thanks for the reply. but i am looking at it from a hire view will the gearbox clucth get slaughterd or can it handle it? i accept that from my ferrari 360 spider dont no about the r8 tho!!!

silver with grey blades have grey leather with alacantra seats its that velour in the middle. perfect as dont want the leather toi look old when i sell it.
