Audi A4 B6 shape DIM

Hi all, I have a audi A4 1.9tdi B6 shape.
Its got a DIM in the centre of the dash that lights up red telling you sorts of information from current fuel consumption to the radio station rds name.

I noticed that this has a few 'weeping pixels' on it.

Anyone else expereienced this or does anyone know what the extent of work required to replace it will be?
