Free Audi MOT or £49,99 MOT Protection
Discussion
Basically my MOT is due and Audi have sent me a letter saying I can put the car through for a MOT for nothing (if there's nothing needed) or I can pay £49.99 to pay for this MOT and then next year I'll be covered up to the value of £750 should anything need doing.
Has anyone else done this or know of any reason not to do this?

I would suggest reading the terms and conditions of the "£750", as it only covers specific areas
T&C
It is kind of a gamble on what you think might need doing this year vs what might need doing next year,
Personally, I'd probably take the free one, as I know with my luck, I'd end up with all the failures the following year not being covered! But you could cover a huge amount of costs in the steering and suspension areas covered, down to luck though! As it may need doing in advance of the MOT!
ETA: better copy of T&C
