Am loving I must admit.

I tried to pay closer attention to gear changes after Reading your comments. Not sure I can fault the auto mode smootheness other than changing down below 3 rd when you feel a slight shudder. Temperature has been mainly cold so can not compare much there. I do agree that dynamic seems smoother, were I not a bit co2 conscious I would probably leave it there.

I set up the individual mode to mirror dynamic minus the trottle response, but you do miss that instant response to the right foot a little.

I have to agree with Peter Tomalin at evo Mag... what's the point in Individual? Your just going to stick it in full Dynamic and be done with it wink

I have set my individual settings to auto for engine/box and dynamic for steering and suspension, just for hustling along a roads in traffic.

Surely the MMI screen is a little small for a film of that magnitude smile

Sorry.

I have exactly the same setting with dynamic diff on too. The throttle is a little too tempting on town roads to prefer to restrain a little and save the fuel until I get to a great A road like the A24 near box hill.

By the way tracked a 2007 BMW M3 tonight. Had the measure of it up to 50 mph, then lost a little ground, but less than I would have thought. Like Febuar says, this car keeps getting better all the time.

Sorry about the off topic, but...

Worsy, did you buy yours from Boston Audi? Thought I recognised the surroundings. If so, were they any good? I use them for servicing my RS4 & they seem ok if expensive.

Hi All,

Really happy with My B8 S4 Avant (Black)

But 1 thing does everyone’s folding mirrors only go in below 8MPH or has mine got a problem???

living in Guernsey with narrow roads it make a big difference to me.

Cheers!

Thanks FUBAR

I am verry interested to know!

twisting the knob to "fold" above 8MPH does nothing drop below 8 MPH and bingo in they go!

8mph does indeed seem to be the threshold on mine too

Thanks worsy,

I suppose as it is not only me that this is a design feature frown

Suppose I'm just going to have to find a way to change it! will post if I find anything.

The boss is off to Barbados for 3 weeks in February, reckon I could get a Miltek on and invoice hidden before he gets back hehe
