I'll lend you 3 quid on the conditions that:

You buy it from me
You pay the rest of it

Had a quick play in mine tonight - starting to get the hang of using the paddles. Amusing farting noises if do a full bore up shift using the paddles without lifting off biggrin

B8.5 Saloon running on 19s - what tyre pressure would you recommend gents? Currently at 40psi and the ride seems worse than my old B8 (also on 19s) - can't recall what pressure I used to run it at though. TIA smile

Our Avant with 19s is running 36psi, seems to be about right to me.

Cheers - the card in the door has 41 but I believe that's fully loaded. In the manual it's 36/33 so 36 all round seems sensible thumbup

I run mine (also on 19s) at bang on the pressure on the door card. Tramlines even a couple of psi under and goes all floaty the same above.

Ive not got the car with me today (sunny so broke the TVR out of cover) but believe its 41 and 43(?) front/rear. But yes, both in the 40s. It felt odd at first as I run the Cerb on 24 all round and 41psi just seemed plain wrong, but I've messed about with the pressures on the S4 and the couple of psi is noticeable.

Hmm - my new B8.5 S4 seems to ride a lot firmer than my old B8 S4 (both on 19s). And have worse mpg. And I'm not loving the DSG. cry

Aston Vantage & R8 much softer ride, manual, and about the same mpg. You know what you need to do Mike. smile

FYI I run between the two on the door... I never have rear seat passengers (apart from the dog), so run light, but generally drive fast, due to location.

conversely, I think the new S4 on 19" is about the same ride quality as the old one was on 18"

I still think tyres have a much bigger impact on this than the suspension per say,
