B8 S4 Ownership

I just looked at the loan rates out there and saw many at under 4.5% apr.
I then checked my credit score on Experian, last december it was at just over 950 and was excellent.
I have not really borrowed any more apart from putting 4 handsets on Three that were in the company name previously and that is all, however, my credit score is now showing as 700 and something and low!
I have never paid anything late let alone defaulted on anything.
So in December I would have been able to get a £25k loan for your car no problem, looking at my score now I would think I would struggle to get a car on finance full stop.

I heard on the box the other day that paying only the minimum on a credit card will dent your score. Didn't know that. Worth paying a few quid extra each month (by DD) to avoid that credit stigma.I then checked my credit score on Experian, last december it was at just over 950 and was excellent.

Well I just paid a grand off my card this week for the first time in ages.
I did my roof and kitchen a couple of years back and used my card to pay for it, £28000, as I wasn't sure when they would start. Might have been that summer but may have been the summer after and didn't want the loan till the work started.
I then did the work the following summer, the loan had been agreed and accepted but the bank then said they couldn't give me an unsecured loan as their terms had changed and it was over 180 days since we signed.
So I did a loan for £14999 unsecured and the rest stayed on the cards, the loan is now paid off and only just started to pay off the card this month, so maybe that is why, as it has sat at the same amount for the last 3 years. But just seemed strange that it has been excellent for so long and suddenly dropped in 6 months so much.
I will get it paid down over the next 12 months or so, so hopefully that will sort it.
The other thing is hundreds of credit checks showing with insurance companies.
I take it when I do an insurance search through auto trader, compare the market etc. each insurance company credit checks you?
Does that affect your score?

Ugh. Sorry this is getting boring now, I'll try and shut up and let the rest of you get on with enjoying your S4s...
Would have been biting your had off for this car but looking for a Blue S4 with the contrasting black and white Super Sport seats.Otherwise it is exactly what we are looking for.
Update on mine this month:
Warranty work:
New B&O speaker
New clutch master cylinder as the switch was faulty causing the vehicle to not always start, however the cruse control now doesn't work so going back in.
Timing Chain rattle at start up is within Audi's guidelines, so no fault.
Just purchased the gearbox, diff oil (both different specs) and cross member bolts to perform an oil change (manual box).

Confused?! I know it is a for some a minor thing, but colour is important. Like I said other than that it is what we are looking for
Buy mine and get a wrap?! You'd still be thousands to the good I'd wager (down to £25,995 now)

Bad! £2/3k less than the trade in which I already thought was low!
Going to have to stump up more loot to fix this fiasco
Nice car Dibbly and right spec, worth adding the service history into the listing? I.E dates and mileage for each one and any work completed? Going to have to stump up more loot to fix this fiasco
