My idea was based on the old 'Blower Bentleys' which often had dark red upholstery. Her idea came while contemplating a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP - amazing the powers of alcohol eh! If you're going for Aston Racing Green you could try to look at the colours used in the tarten pattern of the fabric seats they used. scratchchin

my seats, dash, whaletail and other bits are remaining as is. but i do need to choose a carpet colour, and still debating the wheel and roof colours. thinking of a mid silver for the rl7 wheels, which is close to the ali colours on window openings etc, but really not decided on the rest till the paint is done and i can offer up some samples or roof and carpet.

Dark tan carpets with magnolia edging? In the pic below the inside of the strap represents your existing leather colour. Wood dash would also match the carpets.

fitted mine with federal RSR today 235/40 and 255/40 after powder coating, so we will see how they look tomorrow.... the rears look huge, but ian at sportmotive says they will fit............

They should, my 255 40x18 fit no problems... on Nitrons lowered about 25mm.

thanks, I think the colour is "greener" in person, but very dependant on the lighting as there is quite a lot of fleck in it....similair to this

do you think its the front or rear that helps with stability? at proper speed 140 plus, mine starts to get light....to the point i have been thinking of getting a tamora for their reputed handling qualities, though the chaps at sportmotive say that i need a front splitter, and would benefit from a proper suspension set up, as i did all that in the garage with string and tape measures
Possibbly. I've had mine at speeds of around 145-150 (in continental Europe and on track) and it seemed fine, to me at least wink I am given to understand that the splitter does affect stability - mine has one - and that they are also sensitive to the front end rake i.e. they need to be inclined slightly nose down as per the original design. When I had the Nitrons fitted racing green also did a complete laser suspension set-up, front & rear, and it transformed the balance and handling.
