Well, I say 'expert' - in fact, someone who knows a little would be an expert in my opinion!! Still having a few teething issues with my install and would really appreciate if someone could have a look over my install and setup on Saturday morning. I am travelling down early(ish) Saturday morning and staying over on the Saturday night. If anyone would be kind enough to offer a bit of time in the morning I would really appreciate it - booked on the rolling road at 1.30 - so ideal time to try see the difference from the standard setup I had a few years back. This was the graph I had last time:

Martin, Get it onto the rolling road and go from there. ACT will be there plus plenty of guys that know what they're talking about to assist. FFG

Thanks Phil, have sent you a mail.
Ant - I think it could just be a case of me not really knowing what I am looking for!!! Find it all a little overwhelming at times, have read the manual over and over, and seem to end up chasing my tail.
I also have this nagging feeling that I am missing something - hoping that someone with a bit of experience will say - 'Have you tried this...'
I know, a little optimistic I guess!!

Quick update...
Phil (daxtojeiro) has sent me an updated .msq file with some changes to my VE, Spark, and AFR tables. First impressions are really good, extremely responsive and pulls very, very well when accelerating.
Few gremlins to sort out with idle, and accel. from low gear probably needs a bit of work.
Have to say it's great to be able to change things like this - granted, you could just jump in and drive with the standard ECU, but I do like a bit on a tinker....

I'll be there Saturday Joboa. Though I too am no MS expert, I did the entire install, looming and initial set-up myself. I had a couple of issues with the Idle Control initially but the system has been trouble free since getting to the bottom of that. All the knowledge and experience I acrued a couple of years back has probably filtered away so I'd have to dig down into the deepest recesses of my tiny mind if I'm to be of any help. Anyway, seems Phil R may have cracked it for you but, it'd still be good to talk it over.
It'd also be good to meet Phil in person and pick his brains; and hopefully he'll have his laptop with him. Let's hope he makes it.

Thanks to all for the offers of help, looking forward to meeting everyone at the Growl. The setups that Phil sent me have been.brilliant, although they need a little bit of work I've had some brilliant drives over the past couple of days.

Phil,
If you do manage to make it you can take a look at the bluetooth module that I ordered from Phil Tobin in the US, along with the Shadow Tuner app on Android.

Simon Correction you won't. My Megasquirt has the USB built in, so I can't use the bluetooth module I got from Extraefi in the States. I guess I'll end up having to throw that on ebay, Phil T has just confirmed I can't use it with a USB / Serial adapter. It's annoying because it's been preconfigured to work with MS2/MS3 by Phil at EfiAnalytics himself.

Using mine with a Bluetooth adaptor at the moment and seems to be working 100%. Will bring it with me to the Growl. Under £30 from Fleabay - took a bit of messing about with settings to get it working, but now rock solid. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bluetooth-Serial-RS232-A...

Having a USB port on mine seems to rule out using Bluetooth at all, which is annoying.
I am also annoyed that the installer charged me for Serial USB adapter which clearly wasn't needed or used!
Do you have an Android phone to try the Shadow Logger app?
The Bluetooth unit from EFIAnalytics was more than £30 and delivery was a bit steep but it is been preconfigured to work - so no setup needed.
