Griffith 500 to C63 AMG ..Shall I ?
Discussion
Hi folks it's time to update this old thread from a few years back. After 3 years of ownership my 507 coupe is still such a thrilling machine and with regards to depreciation... when I called into my local dealership today the sales manager advised me that reasonable spec (and not abused ex lease) are in demand, fetching a premium and are shooting up in value. He strongly advised me not to sell it. I reckon it is in fact turning out to be a cheap car to own. (Obviously ignoring fuel costs ☺)

Glad you are enjoying the C63, the earlier versions and especually the 507 are the ones to buy, last of the naturally aspirated proper C63s.I remember watching an interview with one of the engineers from Mercedes explaining how the new 4llr?? Turbo V8 engine worked. The only thing he kept saying about it was how much better the MPG was and how efficient it is. Not being funny but you do not buy an V8 for MPG!!! If you want MPG then diesel is the way forward.
I was surprised to see this thread pop up again, thanks for taking the time to update us.
