There will be some of you who will never tire of the sound of the V8 (quite right too), & some that are quite happy to pootle about with some music or the radio playing, in which case you may as well have a stereo that doesn't look out of place.

I seem to remember that Becker was the default choice for old-school styling. Are they still around?

So what have you got installed?

These look good. Maybe a bit too old-school, and not cheap either!

Not modded, as fitted to TVR, I am lead to blieve, at an additional cost. Came with 6cd changer and, should you have very short arms, a remote control.

As the Griffith is very much a car of the '90s in my opinion a retro '60s styled Becker would be totally out of place.

this is mine

The McIntosh MX406 is a nice looking, and very good unit. I like having the two dials rather than lots of buttons and dancing dolphin displays. I have one for my wedge, and considered one for the Griffith. They have been out of production for years, but can still be picked up new on eBay.

Here is a shot of the interior of my wedge with the McIntosh fitted...

I agree with RichB, some of the more vintage units may look too pre-90s for a Griffith. I did (for now) put a very new and unattractive unit in the Griffith. In fact it is so ugly I won't let you lot see it.

Car is up on the hoist under cover - so that's my excuse.

I put in an Oxygen OCar - cheap, uses my iPhone as face plate, and not my long term solution.

Blaupunkt do some nice black units with mono LCD which look the part.

The multi-coloured stuff of recent times does look quite offensive in a TVR IMO
