"Just a pic of my LED rear lights!"

Hello David, any chance of a close up photo of your third brake light? Was it a mod you did your self & what did the light/LEDs come off? Ta Andy
Can show a pic, it's something I made myself, did a few for others as well. Separate LEDs on a strip, right back against the boot lip so as not to be seen.

I like the idea of de-lettering and smoothing. I think I am going to have to acquire another set of lamps and bring them out to Kaz on my next shift with a fine set of files etc. Anybody got a spare set they would like to sell me? I will also be on the hunt on fleabay.

Never thought of smoothing. The number of times I have got the tooth brush on those after a polish.

Think will stick with my rear lights as is.

Do like the VW mirrors though, where would be best to buy the kit from I.e. Mirrors, electrical connectors, door base connector pads?

I am pretty ok with a spanner, so wouldn't have an issue fitting them and wiring them in.

The biggest problem will be fitting them to the door unless there is an "adapter" plate that can be used. Looking at the cerb they are recessed into the outer door skin which is in the shape of the mirror base, whereas on the Griff you have a large round hole to play with. Not saying there is anything wrong with a large round hole to play with.hehe

I have been considering getting the VW mirrors too - TVR Power Bodyshop should be able to help you there. I am yet to pull the trigger on the upgrade, but I believe they can help with the required base plate.
