No.... I don't think they're quite right... The black plastic strip at the top in the pic, would be at the bottom on a griff, as the lights are fitted upside down....

Griff's don't have that plastic bit, so unless its removable, they won't look right..

Those lights are from a 93 on facelift car, hard to see in that pic but the indicator/reverse light have a slight bulge to them.

You want 88-92 lights for a griff. The indicator will be orange, no black bit at the top of the unit and no bulge.

Those are the correct light clusters and will fit but the ones fitted by TVR were the smoked ones off the GSi. So if you're only looking to replace one they won't match.

That said they are now like the proverbial to find.

Ah, ok yeah gsi ones were different. You might get away with that tint stuff (if they still do it?)

Jesus, and to think I gave away a pair of these a couple of years ago.

If you look at the original lights they have numbers stamped on them. In fact they have bloody loads of numbers stamped on them, but the one you are looking for will be in the top inner corner as you look at the car. It will obvious if you compare left and right which code you are looking for and it probably begins with a V (eg. V136 AL and V136 GR)
Be careful if you buy just one that you get the correct replacement as there are a few variations - mainly its the reversing light lens which is different.

If i remember well the first 4.0 and 4.3's had the reddish ones and the later models from 500 on had the smoked ones.

Yes this is correct, my 4.3 Pre-cat has the standard Cavalier lights, easily available OEM versions for realistic money - I bought a new boxed pair of OEM Vauxhall items (including lamp holders) for £40! Regards, Pete
