Help! Cobra alarm problem

Hi,

I recently purchased my Griff 500 which has a Cobra 4138 Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser fitted to replace the original Meta alarm.

Everything was fine until last weekend when the alarm went off for a long period of time. The doors wouldn't open and I couldn't turn off the alarm with the fob or the spare fob. The alarm eventually stopped and now the doors remain locked and the accumate battery charger won't charge the battery any longer.

Could anybody help me please?

That's probably the siren back up battery function, because the battery is flat it's seeing this as tampering, usually the alarm is unarmed when we disconnect the battery so this don't happen where as yours was armed so sounded IMO.
