I have a chance of buying a early 500 griff. I have two navy hides which will be enough to refurb the interior. The car is currently painted in star mist blue with grey interior. I would like to change the colour to something else and navy interior. I'm looking for help on ideas of which colour would suit? Photos would be good. Thanks in advance. Wik.

This is a very personal thing. I love Imperial Blue, it has a beautiful mix of blue and dark purple. I believe there are about 3 different Imperial Blue colour options.

Having said that one of my Griffs is Juniper Pearl (bright metallic green) the other is Antique Turquoise (practically a metalflake turquoise colour), both of which I think are great colours - your choice.....! Pete

Yellow, white, silver, black, possibly red. Think blue would be too much.
Most people would pick an external colour then choose the interior combo.

Thanks Guys. The reason for starting the interior is that new carpets and leather come with the car. All the colours mentioned would suit the car.

I had a yellow chim a few years back but can't remember the name of the yellow. It was a nice yellow not a wishy washy yellow. Not sure what it would look like with a blue soft top?

Silver is a safe colour with a black soft top. Not are about a brilliant white albeit it may look good with a navy soft top?

I would welcome any photos. Cheers.

I used Ferrari/Maserati "Blue Mediteraneo" for my rebuilt Griff. When not sunny it's quite classy, but the sun really switches the colour "on"

Yellow with a blue roof would look good.

Not that many silver Griffs about scratchchin. If you google "tvr silver blue" images you should find at least one or two photos.

My old chimaera had an exterior of silverstone with a navy interior. That works for sure. Yellow is the colour I'd be going for if it was me. Bright colours work better on the Griff then any of the other 90's cars imo.

It's a Chimaera but gives you a good idea of colour (Halcyon Midas Pearl with Magnolia and Prussian Blue interior)

Thanks Guys,

Some super looking cars. This seems to get harder and harder. I just wondered what colours were available on a late 93 Griffith ? This may help me narrow it down ?

Keep the pictures coming the cars look super.

Nice colour but a little too loud for my taste. I don't have that courage or personality to live with that colour. I bet it looks even better in the flesh.
