New Chassis
New Carpet
New Roof
New Interior
Full Repaint
Wheel Refurb
Brake Caliper Paint
Full Service

£9800 plus the dreaded. Seems quite a reasonable price to me and may be booking my Griff in as its getting a bit tired. Anybody had this done and any recommendations/alternatives?

Thanks

Hi Andy, apart from the chassis I have done all the rest on your list (plus full suspension refurb and upgrade)over the last 4 years (servicing more frequent I may add). I live down in the Colchester area and have either used local trades where applicable or done the work myself. If you are at all practical you can tackle a lot on our cars. I am quite lucky in having many specialist contacts. I can recommend a lot of people in my area, where are you? Regards, Pete

Wow... thats a lot of work.. and a lot of dosh!.. I bought my car for that amount laugh and like Pete, I've done loads on it myself over the years.... I'd try do bits yourself if you can... you'll learn from doing it and be much happier with your car once its done... is there a rush to get it to the standard your trying to achieve?...

although that said.. how do the costs break down ?... :-

New Chassis £3500?
New Carpet £250
New Roof £750
New Interior £1500
Full Repaint £3500
Wheel Refurb £400
Brake Caliper Paint £50
Full Service £200

Total £10150... so could be a good deal... need to know exactly whats being done and to what standard?

Andy

Good quote there, speaking from experience get a completion date. I don't know there setup, but you could be looking at completion next Summer with that lot. From your profile i see you have the OZ split rims, they will cost you serious money to Refurb. PM me if you want, i had what you have mentioned done at a specialist and more.

If the full restoration packages is just a sum of all the other jobs on their website then in my opinion it's an absolute bargain. Chassis job includes all new wishbones, brake lines fuel pipes + unspecified other parts. 12 -14 weeks to do it all get it booked in for just after Christmas and it'll be all done for the spring.

If you price it up individually from the website it comes in nearer £15k plus VAT, so a good saving on that price.
