Well my half leather tan interior is looking a bit scruffy now and full leather trim is on the cards. I am toying with the idea of Black and Ivory, Dark Blue and Portland Grey or Dark Blue and Cream. Exterior colour is Dark Blue.

Any suggestions/photos welcomed.

Mine is dark blue and cream inside against navy outside and looks great. The leather colour is called Stone but if you google Ferrari Sabbia, that is the same. Where are you based as you are welcome to have a look at mine. I have just had it done at D&C Blackpool. Black won't work against the blue imo.

Hi Andy, I had my Griff completely retrimmed June-July this year. I too was not sure of colours, combinations etc. The trimmer was great and together we determined a scheme and colour that not only I was happy with, but also one that set the car off a treat. The most important part of the decision process was the time taken by the trimmer to cut me samples of leather, alcantara, carpet etc to take away and evaluate. Also, the trimmer, having many years experience with all different kind of car was able to suggest ideas and concepts.

So, my advise to you is; find a good helpfull trimmer, discuss with him and then take away samples of different leather colours, carpet et. Take it from me, only after deliberating at home with combinations etc did I come to a final decision. Also note that my trimmer produced samples of stitching and thread colour for me. Finally; don't use a trimmer that will not let you have samples and advice unless you have placed an order with him (I had that from a prominent trimmer of TVR's), use local friendly easily accessible craftsmen. They do not have to be TVR specific nor 100's of miles away. Regards, Pete

Hi Pete, do you have any interior photos you can post - obviously it needs to match the dashes that you are doing, as I have ordered one. smile

Hi Andy, of course you have a dash on order! I do have a lot of photo's which I have been meaning to make a post for a few weeks now. Will try and make an effort over the weekend. My Griff is a lighter blue than yours, so the light an darker grey I eventually chose really looks great. Having the alacantara in the doors and across the bolsters looks super, also keyline stitching. Regards, Pete

Good advice from Pete!

Choice of materials just as important as colour - my thoughts were "what would the factory be using now if they were still around..?" (Cue lots of snide remarks from non-TVR owners) smile

I doubt they'd still be on wooly carpet, there'd hopefully be bit more leather and a bit less vinyl etc.

I think a darker interior can feel slightly more up to date, but then I just sold my 2011 Freelander and that had almond leather and pale grey carpet!

Happy with my recent retrim - link to the thread on my profile
