Yes, a big thank you to Pete for sorting these out.
Fitted mine today, eventually!
Unfortunately I don't have a lift, so a job with the rear on ramps for me. Got the old one off ok and started putting the new one on only to find out most of the bolt holes didn't line up with the holes drilled in the new plate. So out with the two bolts successfully fitted and held up against the old one. Should have guessed in advance really, some of the bolt holes on the original were enlarged to allow movement. So out with various files – I had to enlarge/extend 4 of the holes to eventually get all of the bolts in.
There was nothing wrong with the new plate, I'm sure it was a copy of the original, but I'd be interested if others find this problem too. If anyone makes more of these I'd suggest doubling the size of the chassis bolt holes to avoid this issue as that should give enough tolerance.
Finally on though and a definite improvement over the old one.

I enlarged the holes by about a 1mm to allow for movement. The first batch I made for our local TVRCC members all fitted OK. I bet yours was one of the odd=ball TVR variations! There could be others around. Let me know guys if yours fitted OK. Best, PeteFitted mine today, eventually!

Doing a bit of maintenance on the Green Meanie and got round to fitting PeteGriff's stainless steel exhaust mounting trays - cracking they are....!
They fitted on a dream. No adjustment to the holes required. I particularly liked the new rubber bushes, especially compared against the old ones, which were a squishy mess! Pete thought of everything including self adhesives foam tape between the tray and the chassis.
While I was at it I also fitted Pete's little rear exhaust bracket in stainless steel
What a pity the rest of the car doesn't match the exhaust trays....!

The stainless rear exhaust hangers are already in my portfolio! Have made about 20 so far, mostly gone to our local TVRCC members. If anyone interested I have a few left? I did make a few stainless 'L' bolts but they have all gone.VT Automotive catalogue

If there is enough interest in the stainless trays I will run another batch? All the best, Pete
