Maybe a special order? Someone wanted aircon so a standard car was tweaked to suit... Looking at the solution they've gone for with the alternator could it have been a dealer that modified it rather than the factory?
You may have a priceless one-off special or it maybe a pile of junk....
Either way it's been pretty hot under that bonnet - check out the n/s and bulkhead heat Shields
Whether you buy it or not the fact it's not standard will always limit its value
Eta - the exhaust - are those cats bolted in place of the Y Piece? If so, maybe it's a Japanese export that's made its way back... If so I don't imagine Toyota lost too much sleep when they saw under the bonnet
