Frank, the problem is you have the document on one of your local systems by the look of it, not on a public site, and while you can link to your local system and it will work for you, it won't work for the rest of us as we don't have access to your local system.
If you have it as a document you can email would you send it to me at
IANBARRETT at HOTMAIL dot CO dot UK

Uploading files looks to be the Achilles heal of the PH wiki as I can't see it is possible or any reference to it.
Hi Ian.
Yes. problem is finding a way to store docs. For the wikia site I actually uploaded the pdf document as an "image" and it seemed to accept it smile

Anyone used this site before?
http://www.yoyopart.com/oem/4017211/valeo-085544.h...

It looks kind of useful. The link provided above is for the Valeo Rear Light combo (Cavalier Mk3) for the early Griff and it gives a whole set of alternative manufacturer part numbers!
So as long as you know one alternative part number this might be able to provide other alternatives smile

I have to say I think I prefer the wikia option although not a strong preference...
Ability to upload documents (abeit by selecting the image option) and using a visual editor (if you use Chrome as a browser since I couldn't get it to work with IE) makes it easy to add/edit/format content including tables and links etc.

e.g. I have just added the oil filter table that Ian has in the wiki here on PH plus a link to the alternatives web-site for interest.

http://tvr-parts.wikia.com/wiki/Parts#Oil_Filter

If majority prefer using the wiki here on PH though I will happily stop experimenting on wikia and focus on the wiki here. We seem to have something started right now so its all good as all I am interested in is having a good resource for TVR Griff (and Chimp?) owners to source parts and maintenance/restoration info through.

I also don't have any axe to grind either way Seaside and would be happy to work with either.

We needed to prove we could do it, and it be in the public domain so everyone has access to it. And I think we've done that in spades - which makes me happy biggrin

So of anyone else wants to comment with their preference please let us know so we can focus on getting some quality content in it and getting it right.

Hi the Griff’ community,
I’ve read with an high interest posts about parts catalog for our toys, I would be keen on getting a pdf version of the griff’ parts catalog,
This post ended up in 2014, I suppose that some fresher info have come since.

Hate to bump, but does anybody happen to have these PDFs still available? Did a fair amount of searching but have not been very successful in finding them

Think it was similar to this, some of it is helpful but there is much more info on here.
