I have been with Classicline for 15 years. I am 50 with 3 points and no accidents with 10 years NCB. Classicline want £382 for 5000 miles with an agreed value of £15k which seems a bit high. My car is very heavily modified though.

Does anyone have a comparison or what are you paying. Am I being robbed?

TIA

Jes

I pay £335, 43, full no claims, garaged, 5k miles, good post code, modified Chim. That's with Manning, none of the usual suspects could do any better. Think all insurance companies are starting to hit you for mods.
I was paying just £220 for the same car and cover 2 years ago.

Hi Jes, the above is what I pay for my standard (ish) 4.3 Precat same value and mileage from Classicline, good post code, garaged and an old git way over 50. Was with Mannings but they put it up about three years ago to over £300. Can't fault Classicline. It is definitely the Mod's, unfortunately you pay for what you've done!

Thanks chaps. It looks as though for a modified car it's about right. Cheers

Changed from Mannings to Classicline last time (Aug 14) and mines £280 ish.

3000 miles, very heavily modified Chim 400, garaged, no points, in the South West.

Considering they probably gave me an introductary discount I don't think yours is too far out.

Also .... I'm saving another £80 or so because Classicline includes European (and UK) Breakdown Cover.
