Hi all.
I have a hub conversion with 18" spiders all round and lovely 328mm tvr brakes on the front. This always makes me look at the rears and feel a little disappointed. Has anyone upgraded rears and what too that will fit the 5 stud pattern. Also...i got to have those black calipers with the yellow tvr to match the front !! Were they ever fitted to the rears or does the bias go bad ?
Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a Griffith, your profile suggests you've got a Tuscan?

TBH and imo I don't think their is any need to upgrade on the rears unless you are thinking of going racing every weekend or so !! I have do a bit of hill climbing in the past on my last Griffith and the brakes were std all round apart from using a good quality disk ( I went for slotted&drilled) and some good pads my griff was 280hp or just over and I had no problems in stopping .
I have now on my new griff 300 mm on the front with 4 pots standard new calipers on the rear (painted red) and some black diamond discs on the rear the bios is set mainly towards the front and stops very good , unless it's for cosmetic looks I would not bother ;-)

Ditto, it was 15 years ago so memory fades but the general consensus was that they were fine as were. As it happens I fitted 315mm discs at the front with Tamora TVR branded AP Racing calipers and 300mm discs at the rear using the standard calipers moved out on brackets. I also think there's issues with the handbrake so I was advised just to stick with standard.
