Griff Feature In A Weekly Classic Car Comic
Discussion
As above, there are 2 weekly classic news papers but it's not Classic Car Weekly but the other one.
I spotted this last even in a supermarket and had a quick read ( minus reading glasses ) and it's not a bad article 😃.
It runs over several pages and an early metallic Green Griff 400 is on the front cover.
It also features a buying article and an owners view of a 500 and says that £ Griff values are rising and compared to its 90s opposition they are too £ cheap.
Any Griff publicity has to be good publicity 😃

Not a bad article, written in good faith, over four pages no less.
Frequent praise for the noisier pre-cats so it gets my vote - even though it states the Griff has MacPherson struts!
Also, doesn't kiss the backside of the SE models, saying "they split opinion", which again I think is fair.
All in all, kept me entertained whilst the Mrs was in M&S....

I've really noticed this year how many admiring comments get shouted at the Griff as I drive by. This used to be just little lads or groups of teenagers (I used to wave at the little 'uns but ignored the teenagers) but it's far more adults who look and point and make comments these days. The Griff is really becoming appreciated and recognised, not just by car drivers but by Joe Public.
Yes Barreti, I've only done a few miles so far this year, but I have as well ! There Is Just Nothing on the road today that looks so distinctive..... But they are STILL chronically £ undervalued compared to the 90s opposition.
Roll on a few years when they are eligible to be sold in the USA, hopefully values will rocket !!
