Potential Fuel Problem
Discussion
While replacing all the fuel lines on my 1996 500 I noticed that the brass tube that routes the main fuel feed over the rear suspension had little clearance. On further investigation it was actually proved to touch the tube during a run, a worrying scenario, a quick fix:

Great write-up Paul.
I also found the U - or rather the upside down U - which is there to carry the fuel line over the rear wishbone was rotten on my car.
I replaced it with a rubber hose which I encased in 22mm copper pipe as protection.
I'm happy with it as a fix but not as a permanent solution.
If, as you say, you are going to make another version of your brass tube would you make a couple and sell me one?

Ian,
A winter job that requires a bit more thought. Besides the bent tube I was also considering incorporating a drain plug somehow as draining the tank is a pita.
Maybe your tube was steel and TVR later updated to brass? I had no idea mine was brass until I cleaned the muck off.
Will get in touch when sorted.
Cheers
