Hi there...my name is Paul, and I'm based in South Wales. I've just bought the scruffy black 4.0 Griffith from Glen. It's scheduled for a complete painting next week... I've owned TVR's before - an S and a Wedge, so no virgin.!!

Welcome Paul and congrat's.
Bought a Griff from glen myself years ago. His repairs are messy and he's not a fair trader. But.......when you have enough knowledge you could have a bargain.

Ronald.

Thanks both, for the welcome...one silly question -

Where do you store the targa????? Am I being stupid by thinking it goes in the boot?

Welcome! From another hillclimber.

Yes, the roof fits in the boot. Must be empty first though!

My method-

Put roof into protective bag.

Put into LH into boot corner (with screen side down & inside facing you).

Very carefully put RH corner into boot.

Push upright so that the panel is up against the fuel tank.

Close boot slowly until you get the hang of it….

If you're anything like me you'll not need it.
Bought my 500 almost 3yrs back in Lancs, drove to Liverpool/Belfast ferry, put roof panel on and onto boat. Took it off on arrival in Belfast and hasn't been fitted since. Still in the boot!
Car garaged and try to avoid wet day driving. Not altogether easy!!
Still manage fair annual mileage though.

Welcome and Congrats Paul from a fellow black Griff owner.
That one seemed to have been on sale for some considerable time - glad its found a home.
As above, would be great to see the pics too.
