Bloody hell. I was thinking about it, but now I'm sold!

So 2x http://www.car-mod-shop.co.uk/566cree-5r-baz15d-56...

and 2x http://www.car-mod-shop.co.uk/382cree-80-80w-ba15s...

that right?
Surely you only need to buy one of each, as they are advertised as sold in pairs.

Edit

Only the one listing is shown as for a pair.

There was some chat about bulbs earlier.

So, a pair of each, or 2 of each type of bulb.

In red.

And use the code "audiforum" for 10% off.

I ordered red as per the link for both stop lamps and the tail/fog.

It's slightly confusing as you have to select 2x Red for the stop lights but the tail lights / fog come as a pairconfused

Agreed.

However, happily I ordered the same as you!

Yes red. Something to do with light frequencies.

I pushed them to get the BAZ15D as they didn't hold them as they said there was no demand due to the cars they fitted. I stupidly ordered the Chimp bulbs first by mistake, which prompted the digging into what the Griff fitment is. I tried to use them on my fathers' Skoda and guess what - also BAZ15D fitment!

Matthew - no problem, it does seem a bit of an odd thing to do when you have red lenses!
FFG - I was thinking it was a good shout, but having seen Stever's pictures... wow. Proper no brainer territory!

thumbup Looks great - is that one LED strip or two behind the plate and how did you wire it??

Decided against spending money on the reverse bulbs as I don't do a lot of nightime reversing but the flashers could be brighter

I fitted two LED's behind the numberplate. Each one connects to the wires that supply the original bulbs that are in the recess holes, so its a case of simply making a connection to existing wires.

You could easily get away with one strip as its so bright, especially with the translucent plate. A standard plate would be well lit using the LED's.

Yes amber / yellow ones are available. You'll need to swap the relay over too or add a resistor. Easier just to swap the relay. Change the front and side indicator bulbs at the same time.

Relays are abumdantly available on evilbay and I assume the previously linked company too.
