...Please update me, who are today the best Rover V8 engine builders?

I'd build a large capacity carbed engine for my Griffith, nothing 'galactic' but just a reliable high torque engine good for 340/360 true HP.

Mine was from V8 developments but that was a few years ago. About 325 or 330 bhp and 365 lb of torque.

Lots of powerful engines in the Chimaera section. Most of them have changed ECU and/or turbo or supercharges

Thinking about it, mine must be up there for a normally aspirated Lucas system!
