Relay identification

I need to replace this relay which came from the far left on the relay/fuse board on my 94 5lt griff, can anyone identify what it does in the Griffith please? It is a Ford sierra Mk1 relay, used for interior foot lights on that car. Any suggestions as to where to get it ie local factors etc.
Confirm it is the interior light. I found my battery was draining in a day or so, thought the worst until I found this little tinker was playing up. Signs were it was hot but I checked it and it was fd. Got a new one from Fleabay but I have never fitted it as I never use the interior light - do you use yours? Just a thought.....! I replaced mine with a bypass wire for the same reason plus it sometimes caused issues with my after-market alarm.77racing said:

Is this the one? Petehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-YELLOW-RELAY-92GG-1...
From the Griffith Parts List
The relay is a Ford part. Its quite tall and yellow so easy to recognise, and is usually in the top right corner of the fuse board.
Part number was 85GG 13C718 though apparently this was replaced later by 92GG 13C718.
Its thought the 85GG variant just turns off after the set period and that the 92GG variant dims slowly in theatre style, though this hasn't been confirmed yet.

yep that's the one he has limited stock. I have bought that yesterday but I will as likely not fit it. Thanx for the help much appreciatedDoes anyone know of any alternative?
I can confirm what Hoover says about them using power. I can see it on my battery conditioner where even though my interior lights are all switched off if you leave a door open it has a drain on the battery. Enough to flatten my battery in a week or so.

I dug up my old paperwork:I can confirm what Hoover says about them using power. I can see it on my battery conditioner where even though my interior lights are all switched off if you leave a door open it has a drain on the battery. Enough to flatten my battery in a week or so.
In trying to replace it I was told that the FINIS code (Ford part number) was 6434052 and the old 85GG 13C 718 AA had been superseded by 92GG 13C 718 AA. Now whether the new relays are more reliable than the old needs to be tested.
As I said before, I managed to get hold of one of the old ones but never fitted it.
Not sure if this is any help at all as we still don't know if the 92GG is better. Pete
