Hi Greg, there are some apparent unused wires/connections in the engine bay. As the loom is essentially a Land Rover item there are connections in the loom for uses not required on the Griff. My 430 has the same. Hope thats of some help? All the best, Pete

Very helpful, thanks Pete. Can you remind me where the earth is fixed to..? In my mind it's somewhere around the swirl pot...

For example Precats don't have a carbon canister purge valve.

Might be the earth off the anti-roll bar bracket, its a pig to get to.

Sorry, on second thoughts the drivers side anti-roll bar bracket is not near the swirl pot, therefore maybe one of the following engine earths:

passanger side fuel rail or rear of head
under alternator

This is the old engine loom in my old Griffith which is a rv8 one with loads of unneeded parts



and the new one made by PJ wiring for the new ecu coil pack etc



quite a difference in weight alone.
