Quaaaaack... as we pass through 1800 RPM when hot and under load... it's a bearing I'm guessing but nothing at standstill yet... just when running and hot??.. its getting worst so will become apparent I guess... but anyone any ideas?....
Is it a water pump noise?.. alternator... PAS pump.. or tensioner (please smile ) .. taken the belt off and they all appear okay.. the water pump stops on the seals and does have a tad of movement.... smile not that I'm off far... but would like to get it before it gets me wink

Why would a bearing/pump/alternator 'quack' at 1800 rpm ? Sounds like something vacuum related.....

well as it gets worst I'm sure I'll locate it.. but at the moment I can't even get it to do it by reving it.. guess it rate of rise of RPM.. tension on the belt maybe... got to be spot on to get it going... by 2K its gone....
annoying....
